Hello dear wife Marisha, children, friends.
I like to look back and share with you about the period in Yad Hashmona, Israel.

First I thank our God, Abba for ALL, His Grace, Shalom with so many impressions, teachings, encouters, revelations, joy, and caring.

All was/is like the PIECES of a Jigsaw-puzzle.(in my mind, heart)

1. Fellowship with brothers/sisters in Christ Jesus.(encouragement, acceptance, patience), and the encounters with orthodox Judes.

2. Celebration of 2 of the 3 feasts: Pesach and Shavuot, and their biblical understanding.

3. Messianic praise, and services. (Grace, joyfull, freedom; foundational O.T. preachings)

4. Historical value of the biblical facts. (God's promises for Aliyah; resistance in the world)

5. Archeological escavation with fellow christian scientists at biblical Ai .

6. Impressions in Israel: Yad Hashmona, Jerusalem, Yad Vashem, Haifa, Dead sea, Mnt. Gerizim, and Ai.

7. Growth of knowledge beside the bible: O.T.(Thanach);
Books:

"Where is the Body in Israel?" by Victor Schlatter.
"Homecoming, our return to Biblical roots" by Chuck and Karen Cohen.
"How would you recognize the Messiah?" by David M. Levy.
"The prophets speak from the Holy scriptures" by Leena Arthur.
"Bible Prophecy" by Mark Hitchcock.
"De geheimen van de Offers" by H.G. Koekkoek.
"Abraham, historical biography" by David Rosenberg.

All together not yet worked out in my heart, but I believe at least one blessed AIM was gained in my heart:
*More LOVE for God's BELOVED people: Israel.

(not because of their acting, but from their IDENTITY in God's prospective!)
From the very promise to Abraham and to his seed.

The Gospel did not start only with the New Testament, but started with the promises, and prophecies in the Old Testament (Hebrew THANACH).
Now I understand WHY I started with Beit Avraham(in natural: the restoration of the museum).......with the AIM.....to build this solid foundation in my heart: "God will keep His promises given to Abraham, and his seed: Israel, and God's children out of the gentiles.

God's promises to:

Abram:Genesis 12:2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Abraham: Genesis:17:5 "No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.
6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.
7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
Galatians 3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds", meaning many people, but "and to your seed", meaning one person, who is Christ.

Galatians 3:29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

After the full number of the Gentiles(God's children) ALL Israel will be saved!!!

Romans 11:25 "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."
28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
Psalm 122

A song of ascents. Of David.

1  I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."
2 Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to praise the name of the LORD according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There the thrones for judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure".
7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels."
8 For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you."
9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Shabbat Shalom to you ALL.

Abe de Jong.
